ICN | Preparing for the Net Zero Economy

As the economy transitions towards net zero emissions, businesses are experiencing increasing pressure to adapt. One of the initiatives introduced by the Federal Government to facilitate Australia’s transition and to align with international climate reporting standards is the implementation of mandatory climate disclosures starting from January 1 this year. This includes reporting Scope 3 Emissions.

Many smaller businesses are finding the evolving requirements around climate and sustainability challenging, including how these changes will affect their operations, and when to embark on their climate journey.

To tackle this issue, we are offering introductory climate workshops aimed at clarifying these new regulations, outlining their implications for businesses—including potential data requests—and offering practical tools for getting started.

Thanks to the generous support of Local Buying Foundation and our other partners, we are pleased to offer FREE climate workshops in the following SA regional towns.

  • Date : 25 February 2025
