Business Plan Essentials Workshop – Roadmap to Results

Brought to you by the Central Highlands Development Corporation, this course developed by the Australian Institute of Management will assist you to identify where you are now, where you want to be and how you are going to get there. Your business plan is the foundational document that will support your decision making to achieve your business goals. Workshop focus areas:

  • gain a clear understanding of the purpose and importance of having the business plan
  • document the specific steps to achieve short-term and long-term objectives
  • better understand your customers, competition and potentially uncover new opportunities
  • prepare and forecast your finances
  •  identify, assess and manage the risks that could affect your business

This workshop will take place over 1.5 days.Workshop Schedule18 October – In Person Session – Full Day: During this hands-on, interactive session, you’ll dive into the key components of business planning. You’ll work through practical exercises to help you define your business objectives, identify your target market, and outline actionable steps to achieve your goals. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear vision for your business’s future and a draft of your plan to refine further. 2 December – Online Session – Half Day: Armed with your completed plan, this session offers the opportunity to ask any remaining questions, receive tailored feedback, and explore your marketing strategy in greater depth. You’ll explore how to effectively promote your business, target the right audience, and develop a marketing plan that aligns with your broader business objectives.
