The 20th Tactic Conference and Trade Expo in South Australia brought together businesses, government, and industry leaders to explore opportunities in mining, energy, renewables, and infrastructure. The Local Buying Foundation, as the Platinum Sponsor, reinforced its commitment to supporting regional growth and connecting local businesses to major projects in the Upper Spencer Gulf.
With over $20 billion in projects planned for the region in the next decade, the conference offered attendees valuable insights and updates, including keynote addresses by the Hon. Tom Koutsantonis, Minister for Energy and Mining, and discussions on the Hydrogen Jobs Plan and Northern Water.
The Local Buying Foundation’s involvement highlighted its focus on supporting small, local, and Indigenous businesses. “Sponsoring this event is a great opportunity to connect regional industries and foster economic development,” said Cody Girdwood Local Buying Foundation Project Officer attending the event.
Representatives from C-Res including Girdwood, Jessica Hart, Tracey Cuttriss-Smith, and John Aurisch, engaged with attendees throughout the conference, promoting opportunities for collaboration and local business growth.
Through its support of the Tactic Conference, the Local Buying Foundation continues to play a key role in driving economic opportunities for regional businesses in South Australia.
